How does an air brake foot valve work?
When the brake pedal is depressed, air flows from the primary reservoir and through the primary portion of the dual-control foot valve to actuate the rear axle brakes. Meanwhile, air flows from the secondary reservoir, through the secondary portion of the dual-control foot valve, to actuate the front axle brakes.
